After finishing the adventures of the Hyakujuu Sentai Gaorangers, Gao Soul Forever, also known as GSF, decided to release another classic Super Sentai series in the form of Taiyou Sentai Sun Vulcan!

Taking place after the events of Denshi Sentai Denziman (making it the first and only direct sequel to a previous Sentai series), a new threat arrives in the form of the Machine Empire Black Magma which caused the EPDS (Earth Peace Defense Squad) to decide to establish the Taiyou Sentai at a summit. From the EPDS's air force, navy, and rangers, Commander Arashiyama assembles three specialists to become Sun Vulcan!
