As promised, Grown Ups in Spandex or GUIS recently releases the first episode of Tsuburaya's latest presentation for Ultraman fans, Ultraman Retsuden. This marks Ultraman's 45th year anniversary.

Ultraman Retsuden stars Ultraman Zero, the new Ultra Hero, as the navigator of this show. He'll take you through the 45 years history of Ultraman. It will be a special compilation of the various Ultra Heroes and monsters.

Heisei-verse Ultra Heroes will guest star in "Retsuden" namely Hiroshi Nagano aka Ultraman Tiga, Takeshi Tsuruno aka Ultraman Dyna, Takeshi Yoshioka aka Ultraman Gaia, and Taiyo Sugiura aka Ultraman Cosmos. More is said to come in succeeding episodes.

The awesome guys from Hikari Senshi Fansubs released the English subs for the 1997 Ultraman series, Ultraman Dyna. It follows the adventure of Shin Asuka as he save the Earth from invading monsters as an Ultraman.

In the year AD 2017, TPC has advanced beyond earth, and has created a new GUTS team, "Super GUTS". Humans have begun terra-forming Mars and other planets in what is known as the "Age of the Neo Frontier". One day, however, the Neo Frontier is attacked by an alien race known as the Spheres.


Shin Asuka has just joined Super GUTS and is in the middle of training maneuvers above Earth's atmosphere when he and his comrades are attacked. He proves himself in battle, and can hold his own against ace pilot Ryoh. However, his ship is damaged and he ejects, after which he encounters a shining light.

Tsuburaya's 20th entry to the Ultraman series, ULTRAMAN NEXUS, has been completely subbed by by the now defunct website Ultraman-Nexus.com. They subbed the entire series 1-37, plus the episode 29 DC and the EX special.

The TLT is a covert international anti-monster unit established secretly to combat Space Beasts, mysterious monsters that are out to attack humans in the year 2009. One of the TLT's new recruits, Komon Kazuki, is attacked by one of them prior to reporting for duty. However, he is saved by a silver giant that he names "Ultraman". What no one knows is that the silver giant is an Ultraman--to be precise, Ultraman Nexus, ready to fight the Space Beasts to save the planet Earth.

In Ultra Galaxy Legends Gaiden: Ultraman Zero vs. Darclops Zero, “ZAP SPACY”, Hyuga and Rei drift down to the Planet Cheney and encounter the mysterious giants which are practically the clones of Ultraman and UltraSeven.
