Kamen Rider W RETURNS: Kamen Rider Accel tells the story after the events of Kamen Rider Movie Wars CORE where Ryu Terui saved a girl named Aoi Kuzuki from an attack caused by the Masked Soldiers. Suddenly, the Commander Dopant shows up to take something from Aoi, but she doesn't have that thing anymore. Commander Dopant places a time bomb on Aoi and frames Terui.

Kamen Rider W RETURNS: Kamen Rider Accel will be released on April 21.

On a special edition of TV-Asahi's Onegai! Ranking Special in which they talked about the 40 years of the Kamen Rider franchise which viewers requested such as Ultraman vs. Kamen Rider and Riders without henshin poses, one of the topics talked about is Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight!


In the clip, they talked about how Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight being a "proper American Kamen Rider production" and talked about its budget during its opening. Too bad that the later subtitles found in this special writes "Dragon Knight" as "Doragon Knight."

The first episode of the third installment for the anime series by Marvel and Madhouse, Marvel Anime: X-Men had just been subbed. Here is the opening sequence which show each mutant in their respective uniform.


Following the death of a teammate, the X-Men are called together by Charles Xavier to travel to Japan following the abduction of Hisako Ichiki. There, they confront the U-Men, a lunatic cult that steals and transplants mutant organs to further strengthen their own army, and the battle for justice is on.

Before the opening of the latest Super Sentai VS movie, Tensou Sentai Goseiger vs Shinkenger last Saturday, TV Asahi aired a 1-hour Super Sentai TV Special in celebration of the franchise's 35th Anniversary.


The 35th Super Sentai Anniversary TV Special features a few of the series' history, a list of top series in the Showa and Heisei Era, and a glimpse to this year's team, Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger. Azusa Yamamoto, Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger's Furabijo, acts as a special guest in this TV special.

Well, it's only been several months, but we finally have the second of two PV releases for the 2010 Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo live-action movie. ikimono-gakari is back with its great understated, slightly melancholy musical style, this time providing the theme song for the movie, Nostalgia.

This time around, instead of giving us clips from the film, we get a completely self-contained story. But (spoilers!!) time travel still seems to be involved. Or is it? It's open to interpretation. Or is it? Actually, time travel is most definitely involved. Or is it? (Remember the first rule of comedy, folks: the rule of three)

Anywho, it's a nicely-made little video and stars the always-adorable Naka Riisa. We hope you enjoy the karaoke (and the marginally-done onscreen typesettting...)! If you don't, you're welcome to rue us in silence!

Engine Sentai Go-onger's Miu Suto/Go-onSilver debuted as a singer last February with the release of her "Harukoi (Spring Love)" Single. Yumi Sugimoto was the one who have written the song's lyrics herself. But as we all knew, this is not the first song that she sung since she already sung the "G3 Princess Rap" and "Yume no Tsubasa (Dream Wings)" while Go-onger is still running.

We at the SkewedS staff decided to make a karaoke of the song's PV, and I, GekiDan, was the one who is in-charge of it. This will be my second karaoke (after Giant Xmas). Hope you liked it!

For those readers who have seen the 2006 Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo anime film, the above picture should be familiar (just makes you want to scream, "ike!!!!" doesn't it?).

If you're a loyal SkewedS follower, you'll have noticed our recent release of the trailer for the upcoming 2010 live-action TokiKake movie. If you're looking forward to this movie as much as I am, you should allow our little PV release today to whet your appetite!


For those of you who don't care about the upcoming movie (which I honestly hope is NONE of you), we hope the JPop fan in you will at least enjoy this great little ikimono-gakari song. Fittingly, it's titled "Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo," and it serves as the insert song for the upcoming live-action. As zeldAIS kindly pointed out to me (because I tend not to know these things XD), this song is a remake of a song from the 1983 film. Oh, the nostalgia! (NOSTALGIA. Hint, hint).

The PV features clips from the movie, and we've added some karaoke for all of you to sing along to. And I really do encourage you to sing along! LOUD! That's what the karaoke is there for!

Side note: for those of you unfamiliar with the band ikimono-gakari (as I was before working on this PV), apparently the band name "refers to to a child who is responsible for looking after plants and animals in a Japanese elementary school." Sorta fits perfectly for the sweet, innocent feel of the song, doesn't it?

Here is the live performance of Hi wo Tsukero Baby!! by Aikawa Nanase subbed, the same artist who sang very good songs in various series including Samurai 7, Inuyasha, Kamen Rider Blade, Madan Senki Ryukendo, Kamen Rider Kiva (movie) and Keitai Sousakan 7.

Observe carefully where she sang wrong. XD
